RECYCLED DENIM & ZERO WASTE

Recycled denim pieces are created using old denim jeans with various faults. Offcuts are used to created patchwork pieces. Zero Waste patterns are used to create adjustable garments leaving less waste from the cutting out phase. Any left over materials are used to create small accessories.

CREATIVE MENDING

Tired and worn clothing and textiles are reworked and repaired with hand embroidery, darning, natural dyes and fabric painting and added adaptability at the waist for better fitting.

FAIR TRADER X THE AFRICAN FABRIC SHOP

A collection created using fairly traded South African and Ghanaian Fabrics. Unique patterns and techniques are created through indigo dyeing, use of eco-friendly dyes and batik techniques by artisans in Ghana and The Gambia. Designs are loose fitting with no fastenings for easy wear. The t-shirt uses upcycling techniques using smaller off cuts to create an asymmetric style.

Two collections were launched and sold at Fair Trader, Holmfirth with materials sourced from The African Fabric shop in Meltham.
