Co-designed workshops using upcycling and craft techniques. Working with organisations, charities and communities with a social arts, environmental and/or wellbeing focus. Workshops can be tailored to organisational needs and could involve sourcing materials, facilitating workshops, designing guides/how to sheets, developing kit bags and making resources.
Social/participatory Arts Organisations
Contract with Space2 and Clothing Rebellion
Planning and delivery of Clothing & Accessories upcycling sessions for Clothing Rebellion members.
Sessions include how to use a sewing machine, repairs and alterations, upcycling with denim and embroidery, making bags and small accessories, creating banners for the community shop.
Schools
Contract with Space2 & a local primary school - 'Read, Play, Create!'
Workshop design and Craft kit creation based on a series of children's books, used in sessions for parents and Under 5's.
LEEP1 - AND Clothing
Emley Education Centre
Facilitating a 3 week program of arts and crafts activities for primary and secondary school children, including fabric weaving, sewing & applique, model making and print making.
