Bespoke Projects and Workshops design

Co-designed workshops & commissions. Working with organisations with a social, environmental and/or wellbeing focus.

Workshops can be tailored to organisational needs and could involve facilitation, coordination, sourcing materials, designing, creating how to guides and making products.

Current work

I currently have contracts with Space2, a social change organisation, co-designing and facilitating clothing upcycling, crafts and repairs workshops and provide freelance administration work for 9 hours per week at Yorkshire visual arts network.

I have 8 years’ experience in ethical retail allowing me to offer a retail perspective and knowledge of how to curate and merchandise products and create window displays. Over the past 9 years I have researched into sustainable materials and suppliers, giving me a background knowledge of environmentally conscious products, circular design networks and fair trade working practices.

Since graduating with a design degree in 2012 I have worked and volunteered with a diverse range of organisations that have introduced me to people of different generations, cultural heritage, disabilities and neurodiversity. Volunteer work has included providing arts and crafts activities to child patients in an NHS hospital, connecting with asylum seekers and refugees at weekly social events, being a listener for Samaritans, taking part in costume making for Huddersfield carnival and teaching arts and crafts for 3 weeks in a primary & secondary school. I'm keen to work with a wide range of organisations in a compassionate way to inspire confidence and creativity for all.
